Haileyburia Tea Estates Ltd (HTEL), incorporated in 1923, operates three estates – Haileyburia, Semnivalley & Chinnar, in Idukki District of Kerala, India. It employs around 1000 people to produce around 18 lakh kilograms of CTC black tea annually. In addition, HTEL grows Coffee & Spices in small quantity. The Company’s Registered Office is in Kochi, Commercial Capital of Kerala. The Company is having a modern Tea factory in Semnivalley Estates which produce around 18 lakh tones of CTC black tea per year.

The Company’s share capital base is Rs.15,75,000 dividend into 15,75,000 equity shares of Rs.10/- each fully paid up and are in materialized form as on 31.03.2018. The Company’s shares are listed at Calcutta stock exchange.
All valid transfer requests are processed at its registered office and approved and the share certificates after transfer are returned to the transferors’ as per the governing rules.
The Company overseas the redressal of investor complaints relating to share transfers, non receipt of dividends, Annual reports etc.
The quarterly, Half yearly and Annual results are published in English and Malayalam Dailies. Notice of AGM with Annual Report and other General Meetings are dispatched to all share holders within the stipulated period as per Companies Act.
